Drive, He Said
Monday, June 30, 2008 - I drive to Lafayette, LA. My Cajun co-workers laugh that I listen to KBON.
Tuesday, July 1, 2008 - The missus drives to Corsicana, Texas, picks up her mother and drives to Houston.
Thursday, July 3, 2008 - I drive back to Houston from Lafayette, LA.
Saturday, July 5, 2008 - We three drive to Surfside, Texas. New sunglasses from Buc-ees! It rains cats and dogs. We drive to Galveston, Texas along the coast through San Luis Pass.
Sunday, July 6, 2008 - We three drive to Corsicana, Texas. We drop off the missus' mother with the stepfather, go visit her father, niece, and grand-nephew for lunch.
Yes, we are a great-aunt and a great-uncle. Shut up. Quit laughing.
We jump back in the car and drive back to Houston through Bedias. I asked the young lady at the counter in the gas station how to pronounce the town's name and she said, "Bee-das," accent on the first syllable.
I don't have a point in all this.

You might be married to a girl from Corsicana if...
...you get an e-mail from her that starts with, "Honey, we need more guns,"
